Search Tips

All the business pages in this site are regularly scanned and their keywords indexed. We also keep a list of alternative words or synonyms to help you to find your match as quickly as possible.

Just type the keywords you're looking for, separated by spaces, into the Site Search box and click GO.

Typically you'll specify the type of business you want and where you want the service provided (see "Searching by Location" below). Note that if you enter "Anywhere" you are looking for a business that can operate anywhere and NOT for a list of all businesses anywhere.

You can also try asking for the type of service or product you want or attributes of those, e.g. fast or inexpensive.

Searching by Location

All subscribers have been asked to supply the geographical area that they cover. If you specify a town in the search box (as well as the product or service), we will attempt to determine all matching subscribers that cover that town. There are a few towns requiring exceptional handling. They are

Towns or cities that have the same name as the county.

If you wish to limit your search to these towns or cities you must include the word "town" or "city" as appropriate (e.g. Antrim City or Carlow Town)
